(AUSTIN) – Munsch Hardt is pleased to welcome Jared Greathouse as a Corporate + Transactional Shareholder in the Firm’s Austin office. With experience representing a variety of clients in corporate matters, Greathouse is part of a strategic plan to strengthen the Firm’s transactional presence in the region.

Greathouse advises businesses, both for-profit and not-for-profit, with corporate issues, including structure, governance, financing, board management, benefits/employment, intellectual property, specialty tax incentives, as well as representation before administrative bodies, including the IRS. Additionally, he works closely with clients on estate planning to help protect their legacies.

“Munsch Hardt’s leadership team is deeply committed to expanding its footprint in Austin, with a strong emphasis on transactional practices such as Corporate/M&A, Real Estate, Health Care, and more,” said James Ray, Managing Shareholder of Munsch Hardt’s Austin office. “We are excited for Jared to join the Firm, as his background and expertise will significantly enhance our team and strengthen the services we offer our clients.”

As Munsch Hardt celebrates 40 years of providing comprehensive legal services to businesses and individuals, the Austin office is preparing to mark its own milestone next year – 30 years of successful operations in the region. Over the years, the Austin office has built a strong reputation with dynamic litigation, bankruptcy, construction, environmental, intellectual property, and real estate practices. The addition of Greathouse as a seasoned corporate attorney will complement these existing service areas.

"I am proud to join Munsch Hardt because the Firm offers a greater depth of experience that will enable me to more fully represent my clients across the spectrum of their legal needs," said Greathouse. "With the Firm's broad range of practice areas and deep bench of legal talent, I look forward to helping my clients not only navigate corporate complexities but also capitalize on opportunities for growth and success throughout Texas."

Greathouse is an active member of several prestigious legal organizations, including the Austin Bar Association’s Business Law and Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Sections, as well as the Texas Bar Corporate Counsel Section. His commitment to the community is evident through his recognition by the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program for outstanding pro bono service. In 2021, Greathouse was honored with a spot on Thomson Reuters’ esteemed Texas Rising Stars list for Business and Corporate Law, solidifying his reputation as a leader in the field.

Greathouse received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
