Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr PC has added as a shareholder in its Dallas office a trial attorney previously with Fee Smith Sharp & Vitullo LLP who specializes in transportation and tort litigation.

William Toles will be a member of Munsch Hardt's litigation practice, where he will concentrate on tort litigation such as complex premises liability, negligence and transportation matters, according to the firm's Sept. 7 announcement.

Toles has successfully tried more than 60 civil jury trials to verdict, in areas such as wrongful death, breach of contract and personal injury cases, according to Munsch Hardt.

The firm offered Toles the opportunity to continue to work on transportation and high-profile tort litigation, along with real estate and commercial litigation, he said in the statement.

"When I stepped back and looked at my legal practice moving forward, I knew I wanted a growing, Texas-based firm with a broad spectrum of litigation and trial opportunities," Toles said.

Toles received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University and his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law, according to Munsch Hardt. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit, the Northern, Southern, Eastern and Western districts of Texas and the state of Texas, according to the firm.

Munsch Hardt's attorneys work out of offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin, Texas, according to the firm's website.

In June, the firm added Kelly Robreno Koster, a labor and employment shareholder, to its litigation practice group in Houston.

Also coming over to Munsch Hardt from Fee Smith along with Toles will be associates Peter Hogue and Kelly Wise and two paralegals, according to the firm.

"William is an accomplished trial attorney who understands not only how to provide the kind of client service on which Munsch Hardt is built, but he also has the ability and relationships to truly make an impact in our firm," said Phil Appenzeller, the firm's CEO, in the statement.
