(DALLAS) Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) is pleased to announce Appellate and Trial attorney Randall Miller has joined the Firm’s Dallas office as a Shareholder. Miller joins Munsch Hardt from Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a Partner in the General Litigation Group. While at Kirkland, he defended clients facing class action antitrust claims and consumer protection claims, served as appellate counsel in commercial litigation matters, and advised corporate clients on the Texas anti-boycott laws.
“Randall is a hard-working, well-respected trial attorney who brings strong experience to the Firm,” said Phil Appenzeller, CEO of Munsch Hardt. “His background in representing corporate clients, as well as his court experience, will be invaluable to our busy Litigation team. And, as our Dallas office prepares to move into new office space this fall, we hope this is just the beginning of an active and successful lateral recruiting year for Munsch Hardt.”
Miller formerly served as an Assistant Attorney General of Texas, and clerked for both the Honorable Lawrence VanDyke of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Reno, Nevada, and the Honorable Matthew Kacsmaryk of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas in Fort Worth and Amarillo, Texas. He graduated summa cum laude with his Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi College and received his Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
“It is an exciting time to be joining Munsch Hardt, as the Firm has continued to diversify and expand its litigation practice over the past several years,” stated Miller. “Coming from ‘big law’ it was important for me to remain with a full-service platform capable of handling significant cases; however, the regional size of a firm like Munsch Hardt was also very appealing. It is an honor to be starting this next chapter of my career here, and I look forward to working with this distinguished group of lawyers.”
Munsch Hardt continues to strategically grow in each of its offices, now with 165 total attorneys, a 141% growth from just five years ago.
