(DALLAS, TX) Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) announces the relocation of its Dallas headquarters to new, state-of-the-art space in Ross Tower. This move comes as a result of the Firm’s remarkable growth and the need for expanded facilities to better serve its clients in the thriving Dallas legal market.
Founded in 1985 by Dan Decker, John Dinan, Joe Hardt, Steve Harr and Rick Kopf, as well as the late Russ Munsch, the Texas-based law firm signed its first lease with the office property in 2005, occupying floors 36, 38 and 39. As of Monday, September 18, 2023, the Firm, which experienced more than 60% local growth since signing its original lease, relocated to three consecutive floors – 40, 41 and 42.
“Munsch Hardt’s decision to remain in Ross Tower was part of a comprehensive, multi-site selection process. By moving up and building out three consecutive floors, we are able to maintain the same square footage while enjoying a better, more efficient and technologically advanced space that still provides opportunity for future growth. After almost two years of planning, we are excited to welcome our clients and employees into our new space”, stated Phil Appenzeller, CEO of Munsch Hardt. “The culture of the Dallas office has always been of the utmost importance to us. This move allows us to preserve what makes us special while also continuing to grow and evolve in the state we call home.”
After soliciting input from all levels of employees within the Dallas office, the redesigned space was thoughtfully planned to foster collaboration, efficiency and client-focused interactions. With a contemporary design and cutting-edge facilities, the new office features:
- Advanced technology infrastructure
- A variety of conference room layouts and Zoom rooms
- Work café, complete with the “Munsch Hardt Cantina”
- An internal stairwell connecting all three floors
- Uniform office designs
- Updated internal suite access controls
- Increased capacity to accommodate future growth
The Firm attributes its growth in Dallas to a combination of (i) a longstanding, loyal client base; (ii) lateral recruiting successes; and (iii) increased demand from new and legacy clients over the past several years. Top clients for the Dallas office include: Bandera Ventures; BIG Outdoor; Compatriot Capital, Inc.; Fujitsu Network Communications, Inc.; HALL Group; HP Village Partners, LP; M Crowd Restaurant Group, Inc.; Greyhound Lines, Inc.; Sammons Industrial, Inc.; Sammons Infrastructure, Inc.; Samsung Electronics America, Inc.; Stream Realty Partners; Texas Health Resources; and The Home Depot, Inc., to name a few.
“We are fortunate to have many longstanding clients, some of whom have been, and grown, with Munsch Hardt since it was founded in the 1980s,” continued Appenzeller. “Additionally, as we see the market soften, our rate structure is typically well positioned for larger companies looking for first-class legal services at a price point that makes sense within the Texas legal market. Renovating space in Ross Tower enabled us to meet these growing client needs while staying true to our core values. We are hopeful this move builds upon our ability to attract and retain both top-caliber clients and attorneys, as we will continue to provide a welcoming, efficient and productive environment.”
