Houston Litigation Shareholder Mason Hester has been selected to speak at the 37th Annual State Bar of Texas Construction Law Conference on March 8, 2024. This is the fifth time the State Bar of Texas has asked Mason to speak at the annual conference, which is attended by hundreds of attorneys from Texas and other states. Mason’s presentation, entitled "The Contractual Right to Offset Money Owed on Other Projects: I Can Do That...Right?" discusses the right to offset money owed on multiple construction projects and implications under the Texas Trust Fund Act, Lien and Bond laws, and Texas Prompt Pay Acts.
