Munsch Hardt Elects David Coligado as New CEO

Long-time executive for Munsch Hardt Kopf and Harr David Coligado has been appointed as the law firm’s next CEO, succeeding Phil Appenzeller after his 10-year stint. Coligado joined the firm in 2000, most recently serving as the real estate section head. Now, he will be tasked with leading and overseeing the performance of the firm, as well as its profitability and financial aspects in conjunction with spearheading strategic initiatives beginning January 2025.

Taking over Coligado’s previous post will be Will Themer, who has been elevated to real estate section head with Munsch Hardt. Themer has been with the firm for nearly two decades and will also sit on the firms operations committee with a focus on client services and development, recruitment, training, and retention. As real estate section head, he will oversee the practice’s real estate development, including acquisitions, financing, construction, and leasing and property management.
