Phil C. Appenzeller Jr. has been elected CEO of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr PC, a Dallas-based mid-sized commercial law firm with more than 110 attorneys.
Appenzeller is a member of the firm’s commercial litigation practice group who most recently served as chief operating officer. E. Lee Morris, a member of the firm’s restructuring, creditors’ rights and finance practice group and former member of the Management Committee, also will join the executive leadership team as COO.
With more than 40 years of combined legal experience, Appenzeller and Morris said they look to aggressively build on the firm’s longtime commitment to provide big law firm expertise with better efficiency and lower cost.
“I am proud to be selected by my colleagues to lead Munsch Hardt as we continue making a name for ourselves by offering our clients exactly what they require at reasonable price points,” Appenzeller said in a news release.
Munsch Hardt provides wide-ranging legal services, including corporate transactions and dispute resolution. The firm has offices in Dallas, Houston and Austin. About 90 attorneys work in the firm's Dallas office, making it the 14th largest firm in North Texas, according to Dallas Business Journal research.
