Munsch Hardt proudly announces that shareholder M’Lou Patton Bell has received the Corporate/Transactional Award from the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association (TCWLA) and the Travis County Women Lawyer’s Foundation (TCWLF) for her outstanding professional and volunteer contributions to the Austin community.
Bell was presented with the award at the TCWLA/TCWLF Annual Grants and Awards Luncheon in Austin on April 22. The awards presentation recognized women who are acknowledged by their peers for investing in the community – both professionally and through volunteer activities.
“Receiving this award is quite an honor for me, especially considering the number of highly accomplished women lawyers in Austin,” said Bell. “I am grateful that my role as an attorney can intersect with my role as a community member, as I find both personally rewarding.”
In addition to managing the Austin office of Munsch Hardt and serving on the firm’s Management Committee, Bell, who is a member of the Real Estate practice and Corporate practice groups, invests her time and resources in organizations such as The Ann Richards School Foundation and Impact Austin, and has served on the boards of Central Texas Girl Scouts, The First Tee of Greater Austin and CREW Austin.
Bell’s practice at Munsch Hardt focuses on corporate, real estate and lending transactions. While she routinely represents both buyers and sellers in all types of corporate and real estate transactions, she also has experience in business organization, business succession planning, lending and alternative financing, and asset and stock transactions.
“This award demonstrates M’Lou’s passion and commitment to everything she touches – something that is widely recognized by her coworkers, her clients and the Austin community,” said Phil Appenzeller, CEO of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C.
To be considered for the award, attorneys must practice law in Travis County and serve the local community in some fashion.
