Mary focuses her practice on environmental litigation and transactional work. Her representation includes many major oil and gas, chemical, manufacturing and real estate development companies in a variety of environmental matters. She has experience representing individual corporate clients as well as acting as common counsel for major PRP groups at federal superfund sites. She has litigated CERCLA matters, RCRA matters, OPA cases in federal courts as well as property damage cases and cases under the Texas Solid Waste Disposal Act in state court. Mary earned a Bachelor and a Master of Arts from the University of South Carolina and her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law. She also earned a Master of Law from the University of Houston Law Center. She is s member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, serves as Vice Chair of the Appaloosa Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and is a volunteer with the Spondylitis Association of America.
