Overview

José’s practice focuses on corporate and securities law, with an emphasis on energy matters. He has experience with all aspects of business transactions, specifically including general commercial matters, entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and reorganization, corporate governance, venture capital and private equity investments, and finance. He also has experience in connection with employment compliance and discrimination laws, as well as intellectual property rights.

Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, José worked as an associate attorney at a Houston-based business law firm. He served as a law clerk for multiple Houston-based firms where he drafted leases, purchase and operating agreements, motions and demand letters. Before law school, José spent 10 years as an international business development and sales consultant for various oil and gas companies.
