Overview

Julie’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation matters, including real estate, construction, business torts and energy litigation. She has experience handling matters in both federal and state courts involving a variety of claims, including breach of contract, wrongful death and fraud, as well as arbitration experience.

Julie currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Houston Recruitment Committee and Summer Associate Program, as well as the Houston and Austin Associate Liaison.

Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Julie was a high school teacher in the Houston area. Outside of the office, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and is an active member of the Junior League of the Woodlands.

Experience

  • Commercial Property

    Represented a motel who recovered damages due to faulty construction that caused the flooring to collapse throughout the property.

  • Commercial Dispute

    Represented a small business in a negligence, breach of contract and DTPA claim. Successfully negotiated a favorable settlement for the client to recoup the loss of stolen property.

  • Commercial Property + Tenant Disputes

    Represented a private student housing complex and negotiated numerous settlements with former tenants following property damage after a severe weather-related event.
