(DALLAS and HOUSTON) Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) announced today the promotion of Craig Harris and Sameer Karim to Equity Shareholder, and the promotion of Caleb Trotter to Shareholder, effective May 1, 2019. Harris joined the Firm in the summer of 2018, and both Karim and Trotter have worked at Munsch Hardt since graduating law school.
Craig Harris (Dallas) is co-chair of the Firm’s Restaurant Practice Group, as well as a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment practices. Harris has more than 30 years of experience representing established companies of all sizes and entrepreneurs in both state and federal courts. Harris also serves as outside General Counsel to many of his clients. He has successfully navigated hundreds of commercial and employment litigation matters of all types, as well as hospitality-related cases, intellectual property and oil & gas litigation.
Sameer Karim (Houston) is a member of the Firm’s Labor & Employment and Business Litigation practices. Board Certified in Labor & Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Karim counsels and represents employers and executives in matters involving the protection of trade secrets and confidential information, non-compete agreements, discrimination, harassment, and wage and hour disputes. On the business litigation side, Karim represents public pipeline and staffing companies, tax consulting organizations, and healthcare conglomerates in disputes involving contract, engineering, construction, and real estate matters. He also has extensive experience serving as lead counsel for court appointed receivers in securities fraud actions brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Caleb D. Trotter (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate practice group. He represents landlords and tenants in office and industrial leasing, developers and investors in a wide range of real estate ventures, and both banks and private lenders in construction lending, refinancing, and bridge lending. Drawing upon a background in real-estate related litigation work, Caleb also advises his clients in property management and landlord/tenant dispute matters, and his lending clients in foreclosures and deed-in-lieu transactions. In addition to his DFW and Texas-based clients, Caleb's wide-reaching practice has allowed him to represent out-of-state and international clients regarding their multi-state portfolios with assets across the country.
