Munsch Hardt Expands Zoning & Land Use Practice

Aug 5, 2019

(DALLAS) Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. (Munsch Hardt) proudly announces the expansion of its Zoning & Land Use practice with the addition of Lindsay Kramer, AICP. Formerly in prominent positions with the City of Dallas – City Manager’s Office and Masterplan, Kramer now serves as a fulltime Senior Land Use Planner for Munsch Hardt clients.

“The addition of Lindsay Kramer elevates the Firm’s Zoning & Land Use practice to a full-service, turnkey operation that can guide clients through every step of the entitlement process,” said David Coligado, Real Estate Practice Group Leader. “Under the leadership of Angela Hunt, and with their combined experience with the city of Dallas, this A-team is positioned to be the next generation of local leaders in this area of law.

Kramer joins former Dallas City Councilmember and Munsch Hardt Shareholder Angela Hunt. Together, they can address the full spectrum of zoning and entitlement matters for real estate developers, investors, brokerage firms and CRE practices throughout the DFW metroplex. Capacities include:

  • Complex zoning and entitlement applications
  • Land use due diligence
  • Right-of-way abandonments and licensing
  • Building permitting
  • Variances and special exceptions
  • Economic development and incentives
  • Condemnation and eminent domain
  • Land Use Litigation
  • Historic tax credits
  • Community engagement and outreach
  • Governmental issues/intergovernmental relations

“What sets our zoning practice apart is our experience inside city hall,” commented Hunt. “Before representing private developers, Lindsay worked as a municipal land use planner, and I spent nearly a decade as a city councilmember. We know how to make city hall work for our clients.”

In addition, the team is backed by Munsch Hardt’s well-established and well-regarded transactional real estate practice. Thus, the Firm is able to truly provide a one-stop-shop for commercial real estate clients with projects in Texas. The land use team also touts a very attractive rate structure, that is competitive with both law firms and consulting firms.

Munsch Hardt’s Zoning & Land Use practice is dedicated to providing the most practical and cost-effective solutions for sophisticated real estate projects. To schedule a preliminary project review, please contact Angela Hunt at 214-855-7527 or email ahunt@munsch.com.
