The process for compiling D Magazine’s annual list of the Best Lawyers in Dallas begins with the publication inviting Texas attorneys to nominate two lawyers outside of their own firm across 40 different practice areas. Those nominating others must have witnessed the nominees’ legal practice and work firsthand. A select panel of anonymous lawyers then meets with D Magazine editors to determine the list of finalists.
