This is the second consecutive year of inclusion for James R. Ray, III, and Adam J. Richie, P.E., LEED AP makes his debut on the list this year.

Ray focuses his practice on real property and intellectual property litigation, including condemnation matters; administrative and regulatory issues at the state and local government levels; and the prosecution and defense of disputes involving trademark, patent and copyright infringement. He also has significant experience related to the development, licensing and transfer of intellectual property rights. Before starting his legal career at Munsch Hardt nearly 12 years ago, he worked as both a Field Chemist and Project Manager in the engineering and environmental arenas.

Serving as Co-Chair of Munsch Hardt’s Construction practice group, Richie represents owners (public and private), general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals in various complex transactional matters and disputes within the construction industry. He offers significant experience in drafting and negotiating complex design and construction contracts for all types of commercial projects, with a focus on evaluating insurance coverage issues. Before entering law school, Richie was a Mechanical Engineer and Project Manager at a consulting engineering firm. He is Board Certified in Construction Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) and a retired Professional Engineer.
