Munsch Hardt, a Texas-based, commercial law firm, is pleased to announce the recent relocation of its Austin office to the newly-constructed Colorado Tower, at 303 Colorado Street in downtown Austin.
The 14,768 square foot office provides Munsch Hardt with essential room in order to continue growing its Austin presence. With the assistance of its architects at Bommarito Group, Munsch Hardt developed a modern, space-efficient layout that features, among other things, several large, collaborative work spaces, an open library concept and eco-friendly, natural lighting in multiple areas within the office.
“The progressive and entrepreneurial spirit of Austin’s city and business leaders has transformed the state’s capital into a hub of commercial activity. Thus, expanding our footprint in Austin is a natural evolution for Munsch Hardt,” said Phil C. Appenzeller, Jr., the firm’s CEO. “Our lease at Colorado Tower provides us with the opportunity to serve our clients in new ways, while continuing to attract top legal talent who have the same entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm that exemplifies both Munsch Hardt and the city of Austin.”
Munsch Hardt’s clients are pleased with the move, as well. “Partnering with Munsch Hardt was a strategic decision for our company, and we continue to be impressed by their diligent and innovative approach to legal services,” said Nate Paul, chief executive officer of World Class Capital Group. “We are thrilled they are moving into a space that allows them the opportunity to expand their presence here in Austin, and we look forward to being a part of their bright future.”
In addition to representing World Class Capital Group, Munsch Hardt represents a variety of other Austin-based companies, including: Gables Residential; HubCiti, LLC; Lynxs Group; MLAW Engineers and MLA Labs, Inc.; RFD & Associates, Inc.; T.F. Harper & Associates LP; US&Co. Certified Public Accountants, PLLC and Workman Commercial Construction Services, LLC.
When gathering inspiration for the new space, Munsch Hardt took into consideration contemporary philosophies in workspace design and solicited input from all levels of employees within the Austin office.
“As the Munsch Hardt team described their progressive changes underway, with younger, tech savvy employees, we began envisioning a space that would reflect and support this unique firm,” said Marcus P. Bove, president of Bommarito Group and lead architect on the project. “This is a different generation of attorneys and they have a fresh way of looking at the legal profession. We had to look at the firm’s dynamics from the inside out to create a space that would show guests the firm’s unique approach to partnering with clients.”
While Munsch Hardt celebrated its 30th anniversary in Dallas earlier this year, co-founder Russell L. Munsch helped the firm open its doors in Austin nearly 20 years ago. Since then, Munsch Hardt has grown in Austin and throughout Texas by demonstrating a rolled-up-sleeves approach to understanding its clients’ business objectives and the multi-faceted industries within which they operate.
The firm and its Austin attorneys have been recognized for excellence in many industry- and peer-based surveys, including Chambers USA, U.S. News Best Lawyers, Top Notch Lawyers by Texas Lawyer and Thomson Reuters Texas Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.
