William (Chip) T. Cavanaugh, Jr. will begin his tenure as Vice-Chairman and Foundation Director, Michael A. Krywucki was recognized as a Foundation Board Member and Glenn B. Callison was named as a Government Affairs Committee Board Member. All three Shareholders are also active participant on numerous committees.
Founded in 1990, TREC is comprised of 1,600 commercial real estate professionals representing more than 500 companies and 10,000 employees in Dallas, Texas. Through The Real Estate Council Foundation, grants and professional assistance are provided to local organizations focused on community revitalization and affordable housing.
Chip is a Shareholder and is the Section Head of the firm’s Real Estate group, which consists of over 30 attorneys in Dallas, Houston and Austin. His practice focuses on real estate, hospitality and health care companies with respect to a variety of real estate, corporate/securities and general business matters. Chip received his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he served as Associate Editor of the Notre Dame Law Review, and his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business Administration, graduating cum laude, from Southern Methodist University.
Michael has a broad base of experience in real estate, including development, acquisition/disposition, leasing (landlord/tenant), financing, liquidation, recapitalization and joint ventures. Michael's practice spans all major types of real estate, including office, industrial, retail, multifamily, condominiums (office and residential), hospitality and medical facilities (specialty hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and medical office buildings). Michael also represents investment funds that acquire or take an equity position in real estate or real estate based companies. Michael received his Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude, from Oklahoma City University School of Law and his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Oklahoma.
Glenn is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Munsch Hardt, with prior service for six years on the firm’s Management Committee, two terms on the Shareholder Compensation Committee and coordination of lateral hiring for the firm for three years. He has also led the firm’s Hospitality & Resort Projects group through the representation of national and international hospitality owners and operators and served as outside General Counsel to a publicly traded health care Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Glenn earned his Juris Doctor, graduating cum laude, from Baylor University School of Law, where he participated as the Executive Editor for the Baylor Law Review and was a member of Order of Barristers and Phi Delta Phi Fraternity. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration, graduating cum laude, also from Baylor University.
