Overview

Huma is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on resolving complex commercial litigation and appellate matters involving breach of contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, business torts, and employment litigation across a wide variety of industries, including energy, banking and financial services, health care, transportation, manufacturing, and real estate.

Huma’s significant experience in civil trial law, appellate, and arbitration matters allows her to guide clients through every stage of the trial and appellate process as well as the arbitration process, in both state and federal courts. Her experience includes drafting pleadings, discovery, and dispositive motions, arguing pre- and post-trial hearings as well as drafting appeals in state and federal courts. She has also served as second-chair in two jury trials involving breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims. Huma’s knowledge of and passion for the law as well as her ability to establish strong relationships with her clients makes her a valuable asset to any team.

Before joining Munsch Hardt, Huma worked at a boutique litigation firm in Houston, Texas.

Huma currently serves as Co-Chair of the Firm’s Women’s Initiative Group.
