- Theo Bruton (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Multifamily practices, with a focus on the ownership and development of commercial real estate projects, such as retail, industrial and multifamily properties. With extensive experience across all stages of real estate transactions – ranging from acquisitions and financing to leasing, development and dispositions – Bruton is adept at guiding clients through complex legal landscapes. He has a proven track record in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, financing documents, development agreements and easement agreements. Bruton previously served as in-house legal counsel for a leading commercial real estate developer, providing full-scale development services to nationally recognized retail and restaurant tenants. - Anne-Alise "Ali" Hinckley (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment practices. Her focus spans a wide range of matters, including disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation and various other business torts. Hinckley also advises clients on a broad range of employment issues and regularly litigates disputes involving wage and hour, discrimination and FMLA claims, as well as restrictive covenant agreements. - Alexander Perez (Houston) is a member of the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring & Insolvency practice, focusing on complex restructurings, business bankruptcy and insolvency-related litigation matters across industries such as finance, health care, hospitality, oil and gas and transportation. Perez represents both debtors and creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 cases, as well as post-confirmation liquidating trustees. - Macy (Jones) Smith (Dallas) is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate and Real Estate Finance practices, where she focuses on representing lending institutions in connection with the structuring, documentation, acquisition, disposition and leverage of mortgage loans, construction loans, mezzanine financings and related commercial transactions. In addition, Jones-Smith has extensive experience in representing lenders of distressed assets in connection with loan workouts and modifications, restructuring and foreclosures. She also advises real estate developers and investors in all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions and financing.
