Overview

Ali focuses her practice on complex commercial disputes, including claims involving breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation and other business torts. She regularly litigates disputes involving complex financing and investment transactions; real property transactions; mergers, acquisitions and asset purchase agreements; franchise agreements; employment agreements; and intellectual property matters. Ali represents a diverse array of clients across multiple industries, including real estate, financial services, construction, energy, insurance, hospitality and health care.

Ali also advises clients on a broad range of employment issues, including HR practices; investigations; hiring; discipline and termination; compensation and benefits; and state and federal laws/regulations related to employment law issues (Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FLSA, and FMLA). As part of her practice, she regularly litigates disputes involving wage and hour, discrimination, retaliation, and FMLA claims, as well as restrictive covenant agreements.

Ali is a seasoned trial attorney, who has successfully represented clients—ranging from individuals to small businesses to Fortune 500 companies—in arbitration, state and federal court, and administrative proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) and medical and licensing boards. Her experience in all stages of civil litigation, as well as her straightforward and efficient approach to the practice of law, allow Ali to find the most effective and positive outcomes for her clients.

Prior to joining Munsch Hardt, Ali worked at both a national law firm and a business-focused boutique, where she represented clients in a variety of commercial and employment matters. Ali lives in East Dallas with her husband, Alexander, and son, Theo. She is a member of the North Texas Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalists, and she is passionate about local conservation work.
